Jason Leverant, president and COO of AtWork Group, an award-winning national staffing franchise, will speak about robotics, humans, and the changing workforce at Staffing World® 2017, the staffing industry’s largest convention and expo, Oct. 24-26 in Chicago.

“Today’s workforce is evolving,” Leverant said. “Humans and robots work together to help solve key workforce challenges. It may sound like science fiction, but it’s actually happening. If you think about the talent shortage and skills gap that so many employers like our clients face on a daily basis, it’s no surprise that they are driven to find alternative solutions to workforce needs.”
Leverant will lead the interactive panel discussion, “Robotics and Humans at Work—Staffing Solutions of the Future,” on Thursday, Oct. 26 between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. CDT. The discussion will unveil today’s changing workforce and prove that both internal and temporary associates can work successfully with robots. This workshop will highlight working relationships that emerge within companies that use both temporary workers and robots.

“If you ever wondered how machine learning, artificial intelligence, and humans come together to make an impact on the workforce, then this talk is for you,” Leverant said. “On our panel we’ll have a plant manager who has implemented robotics in conjunction with an internal workforce at a major facility. We’ll explore the total talent eco system — which includes full-time employees, temporary associates, and a robotic workforce — how these workers work together, engage one another, and why employers look at this type of solution to help solve workforce challenges.”

Staffing World 2017, presented by the American Staffing Association, will offer a wide array of educational sessions, compelling keynote presentations, and the first-ever Staffing World Tech Park. The convention also offers the staffing industry’s largest expo and numerous networking opportunities for attendees.
