Job searching can be an intimidating process, but if you’re hoping to start 2020 by finding a new job, there’s a few resources you can use to keep your stress levels low.

LinkedIn

LinkedIn is a great resource for job searching. Your connections may post about trying to hire someone at their companies, but you can also use the Jobs tab to find listings. LinkedIn will allow you to save searches and set up job alerts, and it will also provide you job recommendations tailored to you.

Indeed

According to this article from SocialTalent, “Indeed is the world’s most popular job board,” which probably has something to do with the fact that it’s “a job aggregator, this means it pulls jobs from career sites and classified listings and displays them on its own site.” As a result, you can use Indeed to view listings from multiple different sources, which will save you the time and hassle of trying to find listings on all those original sources.

Your Connections

Did you know that the majority of new job openings are never even listed? According to this article from Business Insider, “Some estimate that as much as 80% of new jobs are never listed but are instead filled internally or via networking.”  If you want to maximize the number of opportunities available to you, talk with your connections or participate in networking events.

Employment Agency

Another great option is utilizing an employment agency. Recruiters will be able to analyze your resume, experience, and skills to determine what positions and companies would be a great fit for both you and the company! If you decide that an employment agency is the right route for you, we want to be AtWork for YOU.
